Programs

Baby Programs
Our infant programmes are tailored to the needs and interests of each child. Babies learn through play, interaction with others and from exploring their surroundings. Our primary aim is to provide the best possible environment, nurturing babies so that they feel secure and happy, enabling them to flourish.

In addition to our primary aim of providing the safest environment for babies, our team carries out full developmental programmes for each child. Developmental areas in the program include physical skills (large and small), communication, imaginative play, sensory play, problem solving and thinking and self help skills.

Infant programmes are part of the emphasis placed on communication between the home and Childcare Centre. Our programmes are driven by the children and are an important aspect of the collaboration between parents and carers.

Junior Toddler Programs
In the 2-3 year old room we like to offer a program that incorporates our daily routine and activities. We offer a variety of experiences that promote all areas of children's development and provide for their interests. We concentrate on the children’s self help skills and provide group times, stories and activities that promote this.

Overall our objective is to provide all children with a bright, fun filled and stimulating program to ensure an exciting and comfortable environment for all children.

Kindergarten Programs

Four Year Old Kindergarten Program - A program that equips your child for school.
We provide a comprehensive school transition program where both children and families are provided with necessary and relevant information and skills for school readiness.

We help children acquire social skills through a variety of experiences. By developing children's social skills it assists them in forming meaningful relations with peers and staff.

We promote collaborative learning where children discover and learn together as well as learning from each other.

We also participate in community projects, where children actively engage and contribute ideas and skills to relevant agencies and charities.

Families are encouraged to actively participate and offer input in the program.

Methods used to document children's learning; Portfolios, transcripts, developmental reports, literacy books and photos are compiled as part of a child's learning journey at Sentia Early Learning.
